Specifically designed for diligent knife users who do not let their knives get dull; maintaining their edges with frequent “touch-up” sharpening, the Galley-V is the newest “make things sharp” system from Spyderco. The Galley-V has a compact (6″ x 2″), high-impact-plastic base that can be clamped or permanently mounted to a countertop or other work surface. Star-shaped holes in the base position the extra-long, fine ceramic rods at a 20-degree angle (10 degrees per side) to easily create thin, ultra-keen edges on all your knives, especially kitchen knives. Ideal for sharpening large knives, the stones can also be rotated for sharpening serrated blades and are easily cleaned with ordinary household cleanser.
